Plateau MPB: MoE disclose govt.allocation of N1.5b for accreditation across state institutions

As part of activities to mark the 2nd year anniversary of the present administration in Plateau State,ministries,parastatals, boards have presented there various score cards.
Delivering her presentation at the 2025 Ministerial Press Briefing in Jos,Plateau State Commissioner for Education,Hon.Kachollom Gang,disclosed the allocation of N1.5 billion for accreditation of courses across State institutions, approval of 19 new degree programmes at the College of Education, Gindiri.
Gang, further disclosed the construction of key facilities at Plateau State University and Polytechnic, and the establishment of skill acquisition centres,amongst other achievements.
“These interventions aim to foster a conducive learning environment and enhance academic standards,” she said.
Accordingly,the Commissioner revealed that the National University Commission has granted approval for the commencement of 19 Degree Programmes in the College of Education,Gindiri,Mangu LGA.
Adding that 300% upward review of scholarship allowances of both undergraduates and postgraduate students was graciously approved by HE Bar Caleb Mutfwang.
Eagle Eye News24 reports that the Ministry further reeled out over 40 achievements that cut across various aspects of the ministry .
