The All Progressives Congress (APC) has again postponed its presidential primary election to Monday, June 6 and Tuesday, 7.

The APC announced the postponement after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Friday evening bowed to pressure by political parties to extend the dates for the conduct of primary elections.

EAGLE EYE NEWS24 findings revealed that it was due to internal wrangling of the ruling party and its inability to conclude its presidential screening, the party had no choice but to latched on the INEC extension of six days for political parties to conduct their primaries for the 2023 general elections.

Recall that last week the ruling All Progressives Congress APC had to postpone indefinitely, the screening of its presidential aspirants earlier slated for Monday, May 23.

Although no reason was given for the alteration of its timetable, the ruling party has been consistent in violating its own timetable and schedule of activities for the 2023 general election.
