Incidence of Vehicular Accident has decreased in Plateau-Corps Commander

There has been insinuations that there is an increasing rate of vehicular accident in Nigeria but this assertion was rebuffed by the Plateau State Federal Road Safety Corps( FRSC) Sector Commander, Saying that there is a decline in Plateau State.
Corps Commander Alphonsus Godwin made this remark as a guest at the EAGLE EYE NEWS 24 Jos Network Center on Monday were he said that there is a drastic decrease of vehicular accidents in Plateau State.
He was responding to the issues of an unconfirmed report that there is an alarming increase of vehicular accidents on the Plateau and its environs.
In his words:”The rate of vehicular accidents on the Plateau can’t be high because we are doing a lot to ensure that drivers operate within prescribe driving regulations and those we discover to break the rules are brought to book. And because of our wide presence in all parts of the state we report incidence while the available statistics indicates a decrease in road crashes in the state”.
