Just In: Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki dissolves cabinet

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has dissolved his cabinet with immediate effect.
The dissolution is coming barely a week to his second term inauguration, scheduled for next Thursday 12th November.
Recall that Governor Godwin Obaseki, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party was re-elected for a second term in office last September and declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) in Benin City, the Edo state capital.
Mr Obaseki polled 307,955 to defeat his main rival, Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress, who had 223,619.
Governor Obaseki won his first election in 2016 as a candidate of the APC.
