Over 500 Participants attend GLS in Jos as GCMHE Lauds Organisers

The Global Leadership Summit(GLS) Jos Center ended Friday at the Church of Christ in Nations(COCIN) headquarters.The two- day Leadership Summit which began on Thursday 5th October,2020 is a yearly programme transmitted via broadcast telecast in many countries of the world.

This year,s event witnessed over 500 participants from all works of human endeavor amidst  the Covid19 pandemic that resulted in the change of venue from the traditional Government House Chapel,Rayfield-Jos,Plateau State,Nigeria.

Speaking on this development,Rev.Gabriel Makan who  is one of the Lead Persons for the Jos Site revealed to EAGLE EYE WATCH that this year,s event was successful despite the threat of Covid 19 pandemic, the event still hold with an attendance of over 500 participants though little lower than last year,s attendance.

 In his words:”We were able to navigate through the challenges of Covid19 to host this year,s event despite some little hitches”.

Adding that the change of venue from the traditional scene  of Government House Chapel to the COCIN Headquarters in Jos was to accommodate the participants due to the social distancing arrangement.

Similarly,Dr.Chuwang Davou,President of Grace and Peace Foundation also alluded to the fact that this year,s event was unique while praising the choice of the new venue for the programme which he said was a temporary arrangement.

Meanwhile,the Global  Center for Media and Human Empowerment (GCMHE) through its Acting Director-General,Charles Ejoh has lauded the organizers of the Annual Global Leadership Summit(GLS) Jos Site for their steadfastness and innovation in steering the global leadership movement for the last 12 Years in Jos.

Ejoh made this disclosure to our reporter at the sideline shortly after the end of the programme at the COCIN Headquarters in Jos.

”I want to specifically commend the organizers of the GLS Jos Site for holding forth the organisation of the GLS despite the current global challenges and for their steadfastness over the years especially this year,s event”

.Ejoh was also quick to advise the organizers to build and leverage on the successes achieved so far on the empowerment of Nigerians through practicable leadership and business skills from re-known leaders worldwide.Adding that the Plateau State government should endeavour to fully integrate its workforce into the program.

The event had notable speakers like Bishop T.D Jakes,Greg Groeschel,Paula Faris,Kaka (Former FIFA World Footballer of the Year)and others.

The high point of the event was the presentation of Certificates of Achievement to participants.
