The family of late Mrs. Mary Ejoh Alkali has officially released the funeral arrangements for their late matriarch, who will be laid to rest on Thursday, 19 November 2026, in Onitsha North, Anambra State.
Mrs. Alkali passed away on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, at the age of 82 following a brief illness. She was the mother of Charles Ejoh, the Executive Director of Eagle Eye Watch News Media.
According to the official schedule released by the family, the funeral rites will take place at the family residence as follows:
The Service of Songs is slated for Wednesday, 18 November 2026, commencing at 3:00 PM.
the final interment will be held on Thursday, 19 November 2026, commencing at 9:00 AM.
at No. 14 Omozele Street, Onitsha North, Anambra State.
She was born in Lagos,but later relocated to the commercial city of Onitsha for her final years. Her family describes her as a courageous, joyful, and dedicated matriarch, community person, and socialite who spent her lifetime fostering deep love and unity among her children, extended family, and peers.
The family cordially invites friends, colleagues, and members of the public to join them in celebrating her long fulfilled life and paying their final respects.
