Media Alliance set for Intensive Graduate Job Trainee Program in Jos

JOS, NIGERIA — In a direct institutional effort to curb graduate unemployment and equip young professionals with high-income corporate skills, Eagle Eye Watch News Publications (EEWN), in strategic alliance with the Global Center for Media and Human Empowerment (GCMHE), has officially opened registration for its highly anticipated 2026 Graduate Trainee Program.
This specialized 2-week intensive job training(Theory & Practical) program leverages Eagle Eye Watch’s 20-year investigative journalism footprint in Northern Nigeria to deliver a rigorous, practical, and multidisciplinary career launchpad.
The accelerator is explicitly engineered for unemployed graduates, job seekers, and final-year students looking to transition from academic settings into competitive corporate, media, tech, and legal fields.
Eligible Disciplines & Career Advantages
Applications are open to graduates holding a degree or higher national diploma (HND/B.Sc./LL.B.) from recognized tertiary institutions across Plateau State, the North-Central region, and Nigeria at large.
The program target lines span:

- English Language & Linguistics (Corporate copywriting, communications)
- ICT & Computer Science (CMS web management, digital data verification tools)
- Marketing & Business Administration (Media ad-sales, brand strategy)

- Political Science/Sociology ( Politics and Civic Advocacy reportage & campaigns)
To bridge the gap between training and employment, successful trainees will receive immediate direct job placement offers to join the expanding corporate team at Eagle Eye Watch News.
All other successful participants will receive formal letters of referral and professional recommendation backed by GCMHE to advance their employment tracking across the national civil society, media space,including certificate of participation.
Speaking in Jos,organisers,pointed out logistics, welfare, and carrying capacity as indicators that has given rise for a strict screening process due to number of available job slots, physical space requirements at the training academy, the secretariat has declared that as a result of limited carrying capacity only the best applicants will be eligible for the training, and would be selected for the final training program.
Adding that in order to support local talent, selected trainees residing within Jos, Plateau State will receive a free weekly transport stipend to cover their transit costs at the end of each week.
Applicants applying from outside Plateau State will be responsible for arranging and catering for their own personal transport and local accommodation arrangements.
In addition,a token commitment and registration processing fee of ₦1,000 (One Thousand Naira) is required to secure an application slot.
