JOS, NIGERIA — Foremost investigative media organization, Eagle Eye Watch, is set to host a high-profile public discourse and recognition ceremony in Jos, Plateau State, marking the grand climax of a series of activities celebrating its historic 20th anniversary.
The event, scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, 12 September 2026, serves as the finale of a month-long anniversary celebration. It will bring together media heavyweights, legal luminaries, academics, and political actors to brainstorm on the critical intersections of governance and the press.
The central theme of the milestone anniversary, “Media, People, Politics, and National Development: The Eagle Eye Watch News Perspective,” seeks to dissect the evolving role of investigative journalism in safeguarding democracy and driving institutional accountability over the last two decades.
Veteran broadcaster Mallam Abdulrahman Ibn Mohammed will lead the intellectual harvest as the Lead Speaker. He will deliver the thematic paper before anchoring a strategic panel discussion designed to proffer actionable solutions to contemporary national challenges.
A galaxy of distinguished leaders and experts are confirmed to participate in the high-level engagement. Among the special guests slated to inject their expert perspectives into the discourse from the front row are acclaimed media administrator and policy expert Hon. Yiljap Abraham, legal powerhouse Tob Kekemeke, SAN, and respected communication scholar Prof. Taye Obateru.
