Insecurity:New Theatre Commander OPHK,Maj-Gen. Musa assumes office

The newly  appointed Ag. Theatre Commander of  Operation Hadin Kai in the North-EastNigeria,Major-General Christopher Musa has resumed duty.

Eagle Eye Watch revealed that Musa’s appointment followed the elevation of the former Theatre Commander, Faruk Yahaya, as the Chief of Army Staff.

Musa was handed over the mantle of leadership at a ceremony by the Acting Theatre Commander, Felix Omoigui, a Major General.

While Speaking to journalists, Musa called for support and understanding of all stakeholders in the fight against insurgency, which he said requires regular strategic reviews.

The commander also solicited the support of the media in the counter-insurgency operation.

He pledged to maintain openness in his leadership of the newly reconstituted military Joint Task Force.

Recall that there was a major shakeup in the Nigerian Army  , which saw the emergence of Maj. Gen. Chris Musa as the new Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) in the Northeast.

The appointments and redeployment were made for dozens of military officers and men across various Army formations.
