Insecurity:Buhari bows to pressure sacks service chiefs

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday made sweeping changes in the country’s military as he bowed to pressure to sack service chiefs,as he announced the replacement of the service chiefs.
“PMB appoints new Service Chiefs. Maj Gen LEO Irabor, Chief ofDefence, Maj Gen I Attahiru,Chief of Army Staff, Rear Admiral AZ Gambo,Chief of Naval Staff , Air Vice Marshal IO Alao,Chief of Air Staff.
He congratulates the outgoing Service Chiefs on efforts to bring enduring peace to the country,” Buhari’s spokesman Femi Adesina tweeted.
