Heartland Settles for Pillars clash after NPFL Postponed MD18 Home Derby against Kwara Utd

The Nigeria Premier Football League postponed the matchday 18 fixture involving Heartland and Kwara United, Eagle Eye Sports24 reports.

The game was originally fixed for the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Monday, January 15, 2024.

The encounter was postponed following the planned inauguration of the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma for the same day.

The game has been rescheduled to a yet-to-be-agreed date.

The Naze Millionaires have recorded three wins, seven draws and seven defeats in the NPFL this season.

Heartland are currently languishing in the relegation zone.

Meanwhile,Heartland will be away to Kano Pillars on Sunday in their Match Day 19 fixture at the Sani Abacha Stadium,Kano State.

The match is expected to be a very thrilling derby considering the remarkable away draw Kano Pillars recorded against league leaders Lobi Stars of Makurdi at their adopted home ground in Lafia,Nasarawa State on Monday.
