The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC)once again dash the promotion hope of one of Nigeria’s glamorous football team Mighty Jets of Jos by 2 goals to nil in Abuja.
Jets only needed a draw against EFCC to secure a promotion Play-Offs in the Northern Conference Group A1 log but lost by 2 goals to nil to the superior fireworks from the corruption fighters.
Eagle Eye Sports24 had previously reported the build up to the epic encounter.
Recall that Mighty Jets has remained in the lower spectrum of Nigerian Football League for over a decade despite several attempts to gain promotion to the Nigerian Premier Football League(NPFL) inspite of the club’s rich football history.
EFCC’s victory over Jets qualifies them for the Super 8 play-offs set for 1st of July,2023 in Lagos which will determine the four teams to join the Nigerian elite football league next season.
