Eagle Eye Watch Newspaper Pulls Out Of Publishers Association
EAGLE EYE WATCH NEWSPAPER a publication of EAGLE EYE NEWS MEDIA has formally suspended its membership from the Plateau Independent Publishers Association (PIPA).
The company communicated the decision through a release dated 10/07/2021 and signed by the group Media Assistant , Magdalene B.U.
The release which reads; “After a careful review of recent and unfolding developments, EAGLE EYE WATCH NEWSPAPER formally suspend its membership from the print Media Association in Plateau State ”.
At EAGLE EYE NEWSPAPERS, we have always believed that the news media is a profession of nobility and as the Fourth Estate of the Realm we should be seen in the light of agenda setters.
Our long held position is that the relationship between an independent press association and government should be properly defined in order to preserve at all times ,the independence of the press and sacred duty of the mass media as the watchdog of the society.
EAGLE EYE WATCH NEWSPAPER’s reputation, integrity, independence and high ethical standard is well known. We reiterate the need for unity amongst publishers association on the Plateau, rebuild, and refocus the Print Media Association as a vibrant, independent business association and pressure group devoid of romance with politicians, and funded only by its member organization.
