The Verdict on Correct Water Baptism

Baptism is a very essential subject matter and doctrine of the Christian Faith.Our stand and believe of water baptism is of eternal significance.

Baptism is essentially concerned with sin,remission, forgiveness of sin and identification of what Christ did at the Cross of Calvary for mankind.

Baptism is not just a mere ceremony,symbol or church ordinance.It is a solemn act of obedience to God.
It was required in the Book of Acts for the new convert at Pentecost,the Samaritan’s,the Ethiopian Eunuch, Cornelius,Saul of Tarsus,Lydia,the Phillipian jailer and the Christians at Corinth.
To reject or forbade Christians from partaking of this Church ordinance is to reject a clear commandment of God.

If baptism is essential enough to also constitute our salvation process to be mentioned more than 100 times in the Bible it deserves our most careful observance.The importance attached to Baptism in the scriptures should cause every true believer of Christ to desire to tender this act of obedience to God.

I submit therefore that any preacher that forbids his members from being baptize is preaching another gospel(Galatians 1: 6-7).

Water Baptism is not an expired ordinance of Christ as been posited by some un-revelated ministers that are perverting the Scriptures.

Christ himself gave us an example to follow- Mark 1:9.

After you have received Christ what are you waiting for:
“And now why tarriest thou?Arise and be baptized and wash away thy sins…”(Acts 22: 16).
