CAF: Nigerian Clubs To begin Continental Football August 16

The African football apex body has announced the date for the start of the 2024/2025 Inter-Clubs competitions, Eagle Eye Sports24 reports.

The duo of Enyimba International and Remo Stars represented Nigeria in the Champions League while Rivers United and Bendel Insurance played in the Confederation Cup.

According to the CAF calendar, the preliminary round of the inter-club tournament will commence on the 16th of August, 2024.

The clubs that will represent Nigeria are yet to be determined as the league remains 6 match days and the Federation Cup is still in the round of 32.

Eagle Eye Sports24 reports that Nigerian sole quarter-finalist at this years’ CAF Confederation Cup Rivers United lost out to USM Algiers by 2- 1 goals aggregate.
