The rescheduled NPFL MD29 derby between host Kano Pillars vs Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan witnessed a twist of fortune on Monday as the Oluyole Warriors sinked their host in front of their vociferous fans by 2 goals to 1.

The host first drew the blood with a 2nd minute goal by Maverick Rabiu(Pele)Ali before Shooting Stars level scores in the 48th minute by roving right back Taiye Muritala.

The match seems to be heading for a draw when Shooting Star’s Christian Pyagbara broke the heart of Kano Pillars supporters in the 94th minute to give them the maximum three point.

The victory shoots the Oluyole Warriors to 6th position with 46 point while Pillars dwindled further in the league table with 41 point on .

Christian Pyagbara was the shining star that shines brightest even under the blazing sun for ensuring Shooting Stars got a victory in Kano on 8th position.

Eagle Eye Sports24 reports that Shooting Stars will now confront 2nd placed Lobi Stars of Makurdi in the match of the week encounter on Sunday at the Lekan Salami Stadium,Ibadan.
