Benue State:Gov.Ortom names newly constructed road after Ex-Governor

Benue State governor,Samuel Ortom has renamed the newly constructed road linking the customary court of appeal to the George Akume road in Makurdi the Benue state capital after the former Governor of the State Gabriel Suswan.
Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike commissioned the road project and that of the Imande-Akpu-Gbajimba in Guma local government area of the State.
Named after the immediate past Governor of the state, the 4.5 kilometre road which transverses the State’s administrative capital is a delight to road users who had suffered in the past.
The Benue State governor Samuel Ortom also commissioned the Imande-Akpu-Gbajimba road which leads to the State Governor ’s home town headquarters Gbajimba.
Governor Nyesom Wike used the opportunity to dismiss allegations of a planned defection to the ruling party by his Benue counterpart.
Wike encouraged Governor Ortom to do more to develop his State to build the confidence of the people.
“You can see the joy in the face of the people of the area as a result of this road project and I want you to do more for the people”.
