Football:Uche Ikpeazu reject Nigeria

Striker will play for Uganda next month

English Championship side Wycombe Wanderers striker Uche Ikpeazu has received the call-up to represent Uganda in the forthcoming African Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Sudan.

The Cranes are in action in the Group B double-header on the 11th and 16th of November. providing the opportunity for Ikpeazu to earn his first international caps.

Uche was born in London to a Nigerian father and Ugandan mother, and received a call-up earlier this year only for the fixtures to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
